MAR purchases Nipson VaryPress 400

MAR is taking variable imaging to a new level with the addition of a Nipson VaryPress 400. The VaryPress is incorporated into one of MAR's Hunkeler web finishing lines, completing the first production line of its kind in the U.S. The VaryPress offers 600 dpi magnetographic imaging at speeds of up to 410 fpm. With this configuration, MAR is able to variable image, apply glue, and integrate a card or label in one pass.

 

Unlike other roll-fed variable imaging engines on the market, the VaryPress can operate at variable speeds, which is a huge advantage when operating in-line with the varied capabilities and speeds of our Hunkeler finishing line. When you add the fact that its toner is MICR compatible, the VaryPress gives us an unheard of capability in the magnetic toner print segment. With its productivity, quality, and flexibility, the VaryPress is the ideal system for high-volume variable printing applications.
