ECOPAQUE LASER and ECOLASER are laser papers made from 100% thermo-mechanical pulp (TMP). Compared to kraft pulping, the mechanical pulping process is a higher yield process. Consequently, the mechanical paper uses half the wood fibers as freesheet bond made from kraft pulp. ECOPAQUE uses half as much wood fiber as traditional uncoated freesheet.

ECOPAQUE LASER and ECOLASER are designed for high-volume monochrome and highlight color printing, including continuous feed and color pre-printed shells. Available in rolls of 42.5 lb, 45 lb and 50 lb basis weights, ECOPAQUE has the opacity of a heavier basis weight premium #1 uncoated freesheet, but without the premium price.
